To determine the weight of a welded tubular, please use the following formula.
(OD-WT) x WT x 0.0246615 = kg per metre.
Outside diameter = OD. Wall Thickness = WT. Both to be applied as mm.
As an example, a tubular with a 762.0 mm outside diameter and 25.40 mm wall thickness can be calculated as:
(762.0-25.4) x 25.4) x 0.0246615 = 461.4079 kg per metre
