| To determine the weight of a welded tubular, please use the following formula. |
| (OD-WT) x WT x 0.0246615 = kg per metre. |
| Outside diameter = OD. Wall Thickness = WT. Both to be applied as mm. |
|
| As an example, a tubular with a 762.0 mm outside diameter and 25.40 mm wall thickness can be calculated as: |
| (762.0-25.4) x 25.4) x 0.0246615 = 461.4079 kg per metre |
|
| The following lists a range of weight factors by typical size as held in stock by Edgen Murray. |
| However please be advised that this is by no means an exhaustive list of stock sizes and serves only as an indication. |
